Nonprofit organizations with a valid 501(c )(3) status and have significant charitable activities within Nebraska are eligible to apply for grants.
As stated in the mission, the Foundation supports nonprofit organizations whose charitable activities involve one or more of the following: family planning; family services; education with an emphasis on disabled children; art collection; protection of upland bird or waterfowl habitat; protection of scenic views; land or wetland conservation; and river or stream restoration and conservation.
Complete the preliminary grant application that can be found by clicking the download button below and email us here. If the Board of Trustees would like to learn more about your request, you will be invited to apply during the next funding cycle, which begins annually on August 1.
If you are invited to apply for a grant, the application will be emailed to you by August 1, and is due by 11:59pm CT on October 1. For previously funded organizations, successful reporting requirements will be required to receive an invitation to apply in future cycles.
Grant funding announcements are made annually in December.
